Typography

A big focus of this project will probably be the typography, since that has been the focus of my personal practicing at the moment and probably will be a large part of all my future work though probably not all of it.

The fonts used in this project will probably be monoline calligraphy fonts, there maybe one or two exceptions when it comes to the line weight, but since most retro and vintage fonts are monoline, that’s what I’ll stick to, mostly.

Monoline calligraphy

Monoline is a form of lettering in which the strokes do not have the thick and thin variations of regular calligraphy. The pen tip used is round and not chiseled.”

Examples of monoline fonts I could use:

  • Outfitter script
