Individually, you will plan and produce one (or more!) product/s to be sold at our Design to Sell pop-up shop within a given theme: “Women Fashion Power” “Mind Games” or “Every Human” This project will include exploring your target audience, your competitors, the wider industry alongside developing business plans, professional budgets and marketing strategies. You will be working in a range of formats including sketchbooks, blogs (wordpress), portfolio’s and Google Classroom.
For this project to be successful; effective collaboration with your peers is crucial. As well as creating products, you will also contribute to the planning, promotion and setup of the shops at which they will be sold. Within your chosen pathway you will become a member of a design group, and will be given a specialised role that will link to one of the following: branding, marketing and curating. You will also be encouraged to work as an individual designer, developing your knowledge of the industry to which your chosen pathway is linked and broadening your visual language by expanding your ever-growing portfolio ready for the next stage in your career.
